ABOUT DE FACTO

De Facto is a virtual multimedia site dedicated to celebrating and fostering racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity. Through an online art gallery filled with our readers’ literary, visual (traditional art media or photography), and even musical submissions, we seek to delve into and highlight the de facto lives of real individuals in our community, using creative storytelling. Through a virtual book club, we hope to analyze common, applicable themes about heritage and culture across publications by authors with diverse backgrounds and viewpoints to share.  Through live discussions, we wish to generate conversations and discourse on important, often overlooked, topics.
